Today, we are starting with the most classic essential oil, one that is indispensable in every home: Lavender.
🧚♀️Its Origin
The name Lavender comes from the Latin word "Lavare," which means "to wash." As early as ancient Roman times, people loved using it in their baths and as incense to purify the body and mind. It carries the energy of sunshine and a gentle breeze—a stabilizing force gifted to us by nature.
🧚♀️Its Healing Power
Lavender's greatest strength lies in its ability to "soothe." Whether you are dealing with anxious emotions, physical fatigue, or a restless mind, its aroma provides profound healing. It feels like a warm embrace, helping you completely let go of the day's exhaustion.
🧚♀️Home First Aid Tip (Burns & Cuts)
Lavender is one of the single essential oils that can be applied directly to the skin (neat). If you accidentally get a minor burn in the kitchen or a small cut during your day, you can apply few drops of therapeutic pure Lavender essential oil directly to the wound. Not only does it quickly help to soothe the pain, but it also promotes the skin's natural healing process. It is a wonderful natural first-aid helper to keep at home.
⭐️Today's Little Practice
Tonight, before you go to bed, take out your bottle of Lavender essential oil.
1/ diffuse 6 drops in your favorite diffuser and feel the healing scent.
2/Place a drop in your palm, gently rub your hands together, cup them over your nose, and take three deep breaths. Then, silently tell your body:
"Thank you for being with me all day today."
Slowly feel the gentle aroma of Lavender and let it accompany you into a peaceful sleep. This is the beginning of a beautiful change.
